  1. How did the sister beat her sister to death and the caregiver heard nothing!? I'm sorry but she was responsible for the care of that baby and she failed her! You were engaged to the father those babies are your responsibility and you failed miserably! Do your twenty years it's more than Anna gets! !!

  2. I’m not in the 8 Year-old’s camp, but something about Emily’s story just isn’t adding up or sounding right. The only thing that I can conclusively say is that, at least in my opinion, I am not convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that Emily caused those injuries. While I agree that Emily was the only Adult in the House that Day, and therefore responsible for preventing whatever happened to happen, if I were on the Jury, I would not have convicted her

  3. She did it. Her stories keep changing and she can account for 30 minutes when she claim the younger sister was not around but she cant remember other things that day. How convenient. Girl bye!

  4. Blaming a 8 year old girl for murdering a baby is disgusting.. Emily and her boyfriend are some disgusting narcissistic sociopaths. She's guilty as sin. No one wants to believe a little white girl who they think is attractive can be capable of being a monster but the devil can disguise them self as an angel.

  5. I think she did it and I wouldn't be surprised if her fiance was a part of the scheme. He wanted a new life and his ex and child support would have caused challenges in that new marriage. Her and the fiance are guilty.

  6. I don't know if I missed this info. but did they ever say how old bruises and fractures were? If it was over the course of time, surely someone would have noticed when bathing her. If they were all fresh…my gut is saying the 8 yo. Poor little soul 🙁

  7. yep. why do they think it isn't possible.
Jealousy in kids is terrible, and especially sisters. but, even my own brother was caught many times trying to suffocate my sister, fought constantly with me and blamed me for lots he did- he 'set us up' for punishments

  8. I don't see how anyone can believe this and if you do then you have to see this is a neglectful step mother who left them alone, not even having a clue how long she left her sleeping. What was she doing. I think she should have had more then 20 years. Possible really, she was responsible for this. No tears either.

  9. Not sure if I missed it but– there was no mention of her having a history of being abusive, the 8 yr old took the stand and never said that she was hit or that the baby was hit, no history of anger issues, NOTHING. Yes she was the only adult and was Ultimately responsible for keeping an eye on them but that does not make her guilty of murder. I don't believe she's guilty. Those cops & the DA just wanted the conviction under their belt.

  10. In my personal opinion I think this lady is a very good liar. I think she killed her in a moment of rage and then regretted it and tried to cover it up and then used the 8 yr old's behavior and anger problems as an escape.

  11. I hope to god the innocence project or something gets on this because this is one of the few cases I’ve come across that I actually believe the person convicted. It is absolutely possible for an 8 year old to kill a 2 year old. It has happened before and it will happen again. Children can be capable of that level of violence, and ignoring that possibility is putting a lot of people in danger. You’re teaching that child that they can get away with murder, and you’re keeping them from the treatment they need to help keep them from becoming psychotic adults. Furthermore, the fact that there was no pattern of violent behavior following Emily before this horrific event should’ve raised red flags. There is an escalation of violence that precedes these types of things but that is just absent with her… not the child though. And the only motive investigators could come up with was that she wanted the baby dead so she could focus on wedding plans???? As if the death of your fiancé’s baby wouldn’t derail a wedding? What is happening?

  12. if im emily i would rather kill the 8 yr. old not the baby. the motive they told about her killing the baby was insane . it doesnt makes sense. theiy're not showing enough evidence.

  13. Someone help this woman and get her out of jail. She doesn’t deserve to be there. Anyone know anyone who could help? I guarantee the 8 year old did it. I have seen kids hurt adults. They have the power!

  14. I believe if they had pushed harder with questioning the kid she’d have cracked because she has anger issues .

Its even possible she told someone and they scared her to stick to I don’t know or remember if she doesn’t want to go to jail for the rest of her life

    Em Is totally innocent💔💔
