Opening statements began Monday in the triple murder trial of ‘doomsday cult’ mom Lori Vallow Daybell. She is accused of killing her two children, Tylee Ryan and J.J. Vallow, along with her fifth husband’s late wife, Tammy Daybell. After opening statements, jurors heard testimony from Kay Woodcock, the sister of Lori’s fourth husband Charles Vallow and grandmother of J.J. Vallow. Brandon Boudreaux, one of Daybell’s family members, also testified.

Wow, all this time, every report I've heard portrayed the Woodcocks approaching Charles to adopt JJ, not he and Lori begging to take him. It is already sick what she did, but knowing she willingly took him away from people who would have cared and loved him without hesitation if she didn't exsist makes me physically sick

At about 2 hours and 5 minutes in, I start to hear someone snoring. I still hear it at 2 hours 10 minutes.
Lori would’ve been receiving social security benefits from Tylee’s dad too. It doesn’t matter that they were divorced, she would’ve got social security payments as well. And the thing that upsets me about Tylee is she helped cover up the murder in Arizona and lied to the cops. She may have even assisted Alex. Tylee was old enough to be held responsible for her actions in that death and so unfortunately it’s hard for me to have too much sympathy for her.
Ridiculous that they audio recorded this but not just video recorded it. The public has a right to see it and what if someone is deaf? They can’t follow the trial at all then.
This is so sad as you have to see a family annihilated from within the make believe world of a weak and greedy dangerous person. 😮😢

You know the defense doesn't have much when their opening is all about the job of the defense attorney rather than the actual case lol. I'm only a few minutes in but I've yet to hear a thing about the case / anyone related to it.
That wasn't a very smart move ending the cross asking for printer/scanner elaboration. I believe everyone including the jury believed that was divine intervention; Gods hand. Charles prompting her back to the printer.
After the prosecutor in chandler halderson trial gave the best opening statement ever then you hear one done like this it's not as good to listen to. So glad she was found guilty today.
Type…type…type….Kinda wish they would get rid of the court reporters mic or mute it, move her or something. Anyway, since the case is coming to a close, I wanted to go back and listen to the whole thing. I do know that this woman is a true monster. She is responsible for the MURDER of innocence. 💔 May Tylee & JJ + Tammy and Charles get some justice and make it harsh justice too. RIP. 💔
Horrible opening statement for the defense
Listening to these people who loved JJ and Tylee so much and and would have taken them into their family in a minute just makes me so sad. When they break down thinking of that poor little boy I just cry.
