  1. She used to work at the Marquette Michigan jail before transferring to lower Michigan. I was in jail and all the men would hit on her but then I was told she’s a lesbian. Gemma seemed cool when she did her rounds didn’t talk much had a dull sense of humor. As her case with this situation she panicked with the plea deal she probably seen it too many times herself when u go to trial on an accusation sex case its a lose-lose situation. She should have played hard ball and asked for a better plea deal because sex offender is extreme. It was consensual interaction nothing was forced and was of age.

  2. Considering that she took a plea and has to register as a sex offender I am certain that this former corrections officer is leaving out a giant chunk of the story! There's absolutely no logical reason to think that if she didn't have sexual contact with this woman that she would be found guilty of such a thing. Correction officers get accused all the time of things, it's the ones who actually do something and get their self in trouble that take plea deals. Especially if it means registering as a sex offender for the rest of your life

  3. Why are they acting like they are victims and not the criminals they are? They shouldnt have relationships with inmates! It is exactly a power dynamic thing.
They give the guards too much sympathy. These are people who choose to have relationships with people they have power over AND HAVE ALREADY PROVEN THEY BREAK THE LAW!! Really? These people couldn't find relationships with regular people!?

  4. She did wrong but registering as a sex offender seems a bit steep. That’s a heavy tag to wear the rest of your life for “non-sexual” favors if she’s telling the truth. I don’t believe she’s a predator, I believe she was played by a predator.

  5. She is the victim I don’t give a damn what everybody else says they literally admit that the inmate is a con artist and then she fell for the coin guess what that means you’re admitting that the inmate was not the victim the con artist is not the victim they are the perpetrator the person who gets conned Is the victim

  6. First of all ur wrong officer. Now u end up behind bars. Ur job is gone,ur reputation,ur respect,ur family, and what they will be thinking. Sex u find anywhere u want. Not from a prisoner. This will take u down instead of going forward. I how many people wish to have a job like it's. Good luck
