When a Drunk Driver Disrupts Whataburger’s Drive-Thru

@Copwatchtv obtained body camera footage of an incident where a man fell asleep in the drive-thru of Whataburger. A man identified as Alfredo Alvidrez was slurring his words and having trouble keeping his balance while talking with police officers, eventually falling down also knocking down an officer who tried to help him stand.

Alvidrez is a repeat drunk driver and the fast food workers called police to move him out of the way. Officers booked him into jail on aggravated DWI and having a revoked drivers license.

  1. How many times is that officer going to introduce himself? I’m only 5 minutes in and he’s mentioned his name like 4 or 5 times. Alcohol makes people the ‘R’ word. Why is it legal?!?

  2. I'm not usually one to criticize, but allowing him to fall was a bit negligent. It was obvious that he was absolutely unable to stand on his own. Only after he fell did they have him sit down.

  3. These types of videos need to be duplicated so families can share them at Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter. family reunions etc etc because NOBODY would ever believe how drunk he was without proof.
