@Copwatchtv obtained body camera footage of a recent police interaction of San Juan County Deputies pulling over a man accused of impersonating a police officer.
A former cop was driving down the highway when the suspect flashed “red and blues” and seemed to try to attempt a traffic stop. The former cop called 911 and reported the strange behavior.
Soon deputies pulled the suspect over and he was evasive on his answers on if he had red and blue lights in his car. He eventually gave them up to the deputies and was criminally summonsed to appear on impersonating a police officer.

To me if they had suspicion of a device they should have been able to search. In Australia we’re quite accepting of cops asking your details, if you’re not guilty then what are you hiding? I would rather they did a check and found guns, bombs or anything on someone than to know they let a person go who went on to do serious death or damage to others.
