Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin — On June 21, 2025, the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office dispatch received a call reporting a vehicle excessively speeding and traveling through a red traffic light in Rosendale. The vehicle had also illegally passed and almost struck the caller and her family in their vehicle. A trooper spotted the suspect vehicle over 90mph on STH 23 just west of Fond du Lac, and seconds later a K9 deputy spotted the vehicle entering the city of Fond du Lac on STH 23 near Rolling Meadows Drive and obtained a radar speed reeding at 102mph in the 35mph zone. This all occurred before any law enforcement was attempting to stop the vehicle.

The deputy turned around and activated lights and sirens, but the suspect continued reckless and erratic driving until the deputy had the opportunity to make contact with the suspect’s vehicle in an attempt to disable it. The suspect, however, continued revving his engine and spinning his tires trying to disengage his vehicle from the squad. With the suspect vehicle now facing south in the northbound lanes of I41, and a line of traffic in immediate danger stopped on the interstate, the deputy was forced to push the suspect vehicle into the ditch and end the dangerous situation. Eventually, multiple officers pulled the driver out of the car and arrested him. The suspect, 49-year-old Steven Juhas of Ripon, was charged with first-degree recklessly endangering safety, flee/elude officer-bodily harm or property damage, and resisting or obstructing an officer. He appeared in court Wednesday, where a $50,000 cash bond was set.

  2. "My pacemaker!" So the adrenaline of driving like an idiot isn't going to affect your heart but all of a sudden the taser does? That like if you didn't drive like an idiot you wouldn't have been tased.
