  1. I don't understand calling each other "dog" that's actually an insult to actual dogs….If I were a police officer I'd never refer to a detainee as a "dog"…..just my opinion. If the detainee wants to use that verbiage then fine, but for an officer to use it….uh – no.

  2. I live in south florida and coral springs cops are known for roughing people up when they make arrests. This cop was not one of them. He must be new, any of the older cops are rough. Maybe the department is shaping up

  3. If this dude has fought more than one cop odds are he’s fighting on purpose. He was cool when he was woken but I think when realized he felt jail was better than wondering the streets. Obviously not the way to handle things but he obviously has issues he needs to resolve so that he’s not dealing with this.

  4. More information and the outcome of his case:
He was charged with Resist Officer w/Violence (F3), Trespass Struct/Conveyance (M2), and Battery on Law Enforc Officer (F3). On 3/20/2023, he was released on a combined $3,000 surety bond. He failed to show up to court and a no-bond warrant was issued for his arrest on 4/18/2023. He was re-arrested on 4/25/2023. On 5/09/2023, he pled No Contest to the first two charges, and adjudication was withheld. The state dropped the third charge. He was sentenced to: Probation for 18 months with the special condition of completing an Anger Management Program, and a total of $800 in various fines, costs and fees (all of which is outstanding.)
On 8/22/2023, a violation of probation was filed for failing to report, changing his residence without notifying probation, and failing to follow the court's instructions. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On 9/06/2024, that warrant was modified under a new violation of probation – adding a second violation of failing to follow court instructions. That warrant is still active.
