West Allis, Wisconsin — On April 15, 2025, using a Flock camera, West Allis Police found a 2013 Hyundai Elantra reported stolen out of Fitchburg near 84th and McMyron. The vehicle was eventually tracked, unoccupied and running at the Clark gas station at 8404 W. Greenfield Ave. As the officer approached, the driver, later identified as 29-year-old Charles Gregory, pulled out of the lot and fled north on South 84th Street. Gregory led officers on a 7-mile, high-speed chase that included dangerous wrong-way driving and a final PIT maneuver outside a Brookfield business.
After a foot chase, officers tased and captured him, finding drugs and a digital scale in his possession. But the arrest didn’t stick for long. After being taken to Aurora West Allis Medical Center for evaluation, Gregory, still cuffed and claiming ankle pain, requested a wheelchair and an ankle wrap. As an officer opened the squad car door to transport him, Gregory leapt from the wheelchair and ran again, vanishing into a nearby neighborhood. Nearly three hours later, officers discovered him hiding inside a parked car in a garage with a broken door, still in handcuffs. With seven criminal charges and a potential 72-year sentence looming, Gregory is set to return to court on June 6.
Gregory’s cash bond was set at $25,000 on April 21. He is scheduled to appear for a status conference on June 6. He’s now also facing charges in Dane County, where he’s accused of stealing the car used in the chase. Gregory is facing seven charges, including burglary, second-degree recklessly endangering safety, fleeing an officer, felony bail jumping, driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent, resisting an officer and escape from custody. If convicted of all charges, Gregory faces up to 72 years in prison and up to $100,000 in fines.

Suspect out runs officers, fur missle comes out he gave up
Will be convicted and serve 2 years of 72
This is Exactly what the taxpayer-funded welfare system produces in the United States.
It's time for a change NOW 🤬
This reminds me of smokie and the bandit lol
The bond amount on these videos is astonishing. I see so many folks complain about it, but in my neck of the woods (big State, small population), we seem to over-apply bond. If someone did that here, they would be looking at the very least $100,000.
Edit: The officer designated to secure and transport the suspect needs some retraining. Particularly in fitness. How tf did a handcuffed suspect outrun you? Full kit/gear, or not, that shouldn't be that difficult.
Wisconsin is basically the Florida of the north
Problem demographic
Another productive member of the pants challenged crew.
His family – He was just out jogging for his upcoming trial in the Olympics.
Cops…- Um..he was wearing hiking boots….
Famiily – He likes a challenge…RACISTS!!
Ya, i've heard worse from families of thugs.
I hope the officer at the hospital didn't get his azz chewed too badly.
👍👍👍👍
How can you possibly NOT catch someone that is running with their hands handcuffed behind their back?!?!?
3:55 "Should I get the dog?" YES, always get the good boy! Poor doggo wants to have some fun instead of being inside a car all day.
BLM..any comment on that?
Why police in the usa dont use full gear like US Navy in Afghanistan?
72 year sentance impending. Suuuure, In Wisconsin, dudes gonna get like 2 years, with time served
With all those charges, he might be in jail until next week!
Wisconsin, smdh.
It was cardio day!😂
I don't know what's more pathetic, the crime or the people in this comment section with their racist opinion. Then for these same racist to act like they don't know the crimes of their forefathers. You don't have to right to speak on what black people do.
He will get time served and let back out.
Fleeing cops twice in one afternoon = Democrat Voter
running but signal light giving 🙂
Letting him escape the hospital was a protocol violation. Major f up.
running twice would be followed by shots fired
Qué lástima que no dejasen jugar un poquito al perrito
Feel sad for the car. 😢
Department needs training
Born to run.
He won’t do 72 years lol. He’ll take the plea deal, get handed 8-15 years, be out in 4-7, and probably back to his old ways 🤷🏻♂️
Terrible pit.
He already jumped bail once in another county and was STILL granted bail after doing all of this?! it’s like Wisconsin wants him to keep committing crimes
Imagine if the cops had to deal with a militia of trained men 😂😂 they wouldn't last 48 hours
Potential 72 years imprisonment is wild when you have people driving and killing others getting 20 years.
Topgun Tom Cruise MI like running criminal.
MAGA life folks 🤪
👮🏿
America crime rate is crazy. I don't know how people live there. 🇺🇲💀
"…And the Guilty run even when no one chases…" I think IMHO that parents that don't instill a sense of cause and effect ( you do this, you get this ) in their children are doing them a huge disservice. IDK just my thoughts. This dude clearly never got the memo.
K9 wanted to play!!
💙🙏🏽🚔🐕
Criminals at birth
Deport it!
Wisconsin the armpit of the Midwest 😂😂😂
the suspect preventing not damage anyone car that some suspect.
Hes sagging must be a doctor.
What a balls up you made of that for fuck’s sake get a grip😂🇬🇧👍
I don't think black suspects should be brought in alive. The judge will release him before sunset, as is tradition.
I know cops carry lots of equipment but it seems like a lot of them aren't equipped to do a foot chase
