Hitler’s secret weapons like a bomb have been a great mystery for many years. After the end of World War II, U.S. scientists worked feverishly to develop an atomic bomb. They feared that Hitler’s Germany was about to build it before they did. How far along was this bomb plan?
Reports that the Germans had abandoned plans to build this bomb are now contradicted by new evidence and documents. In an interesting report from Zhukov to Stalin dated October 2, 1945, with the subject German Atomic Weapons Program, Zhukov wrote that the Germans had already built the atomic bomb.
For the Allies, the thought of a secret weapon in the form of an atomic bomb was terrifying. In the final months of the war, the Allies concentrated all their efforts on defeating the German Reich as quickly as possible. Allied special forces searched for Hitler’s so-called wonder weapons. Later, they were called “weapons of despair.”
One name that kept appearing in important documents was Hans Kammler. Hans Kammler was Hitler’s chief of development for secret weapons and the bomb. But how advanced were Hitler’s secret weapons and bomb?
