  1. he did lie once to get out of it if possible which isnt good but the rest of the time he did cooperate. He knew field sobriety was a reall bad evidence to give the police. He owned upto his mistake, and faced it like a man. He did seem humbled and learns from mistakes. Donald trump should learn from people like that.

  2. Why is THIS DRUNK allowed to ride in the FRONT seat of a police car after being arrested? Can you imagine BEFORE bodycams?

And that sentence? The "good ole boy network" still exists, just not as blatantly as before! Should he have been charged with leaving the scene of an accident? Hell, yes! Should his license have been suspended for a year for the DUI and refusing tests and bloodwork? Hell YES! Should he have been allowed to hold the office he was appointed to? Hell NO! He should have lost his job! As police officers, ESPECIALLY THOSE IN CHARGE, he should be held to a higher standard and set an EXAMPLE for fellow law enforcement! I can't imagine how many lives he has PERSONALLY ruined for people doing WAY LESS!

  3. Refusing to take field sobriety testing is supposed to trigger a ONE YEAR SUSPENSION of your driver's license..how is he going to do his job during that time? With a chauffer?

  4. The officer was very respectful of the sheriff . That's what we need cops that won't let higher ups get away with things . Pity the judge didn't do the right thing and the so called sheriff didn't lose his position.

  5. Of course swept under the rug..!! He should Deff been held to a higher standard how many people in his career did he put in jail for dui All talk for the camera and towns people. He prob still drinking and driving
