Here's a thought: what if, routinely, traffic officers place stop sticks in front and in back of a car (of course, remembering to remove them after a courteous, compliant, licensed and insured driver has been ticketed and freed to go). Overkill? I guess it depends on what percentage of drivers flee a traffic stop. Probably not enough to justify that. How about maybe as soon as a pulled-over drive starts acting suspicious then?

  2. terminate the pursuit? So basically people can just put on fake plates do what they want and even if the cops try and pull them over they can just keep on driving 😆 no wonder people think we have such a big crime problem. Why are we even paying for cops to have these nice SUVs they can start using bicycles

  3. Milwaukee and its suburbs are very pretty for the most part. Especially in perhaps the slowest pursuit in history. I think a 10 year old on a bike passed up this chase at one point. You gotta wonder about the mindset of someone who flees a traffic stop and never goes much faster than 20 mph. What. Is. The. Point???
