The Philadelphia Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 79-year-old Norman Sweeney, who has been reported missing after leaving his residence at 5xx E. Allegheny Ave.
Mr. Sweeney is a Black male who experiences memory-related challenges, which may cause him to become disoriented. He is known to wander away from his home and frequently utilizes public transportation to travel throughout the city.
Due to his condition, he is considered a missing endangered person. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Norman Sweeney is urged to contact the East Detective Division at 215-686-3243 or dial 911 immediately.
