My little brother was killed by someone who should of been in jail, he had crazy warrants and charges and was let out early.. the system is failing us all

Vehicular manslaughter is such a joke of a charge. Like it was clearly intentional, it’s murder. But since it’s a car you are damn near immune to a real murder charge. It’s a joke of a charge that I believe is used very incorrectly but it’s the charge that has to be used. Broken system
Lazy ass prosecutor didn't want to do the work to get full charges convicted. He will hurt someone again and it will be partially your fault.

Cops are lying to the guy about going through his house and they entered the house without a warrant. Protective sweep? What a joke. I am glad they got the killer. But, there was enough evidence to catch him without the shortcut. This is why you always lock your doors. Police will just walk in whenever they want.😮

That guy rapes a kid, has multiple DUI’s one of which nearly killed a police officer who was put into a coma because of him, then murders a woman….. and he can be back out on the streets in 5 years? WTF is Michigan doing.

I knew he was guilty just by his actions and how he wanted them out of the house. He is going to be a problem to society when he gets released, the justice system is a freaking joke he is a predator
Sad how messed up the justice system is. At no fault of my own for being young and having a drug and alcohol problem then. Turning a simple possession paraphernalia charge and forgery into about a 12 year sentence with repeated violations 6 yrs on the drug court program many times in and out the county jail and finally 3 yrs in state prison followed by 6 yrs probation which I completed successfully grew up and had enough of living that miserable life on the run. Using and just not being a productive member of society. This guy doesn't deserve to be let out again
The cops just entering the home and not even announcing themselves until someone appears I'd have been angry to. Good way to get shot at someone thinking it's intruders..how crazy after doing such a thing to play it off like so tho. I was sleeping. Or to even have just gone to bed like nothing happened. Hope he never gets out of prison. Certainly don't deserve to.
