Alex Murdaugh’s surviving son Buster may take the stand and testify in his father’s murder trial during the defense’s case, a source claims. The Law&Crime Network hosts and Eric Bland, an attorney for Gloria Satterfield’s family, discuss the possibility of Buster taking the stand and what he might testify about.

40 thoughts on “Alex Murdaugh’s Son Buster May Testify in Family Murders Trial: Source

  1. This is undoubtedly the most complicated situation I have ever heard of. Long drawn out, one thing leading to many others, story ever. My head is spinning, it’s like a maze, turn one way & hit a brick wall, turn another way with multiple exits & countless skeletons in many closets.😮

  2. I think he’s guilty af. I’m just tryn to figure how he was able to use 2 separate full sized guns to do it ? Or do u think he had a custom 300 blackout that could shoot 12 gauge cartridges too? Or he literally fired one n killed the son then dropped it and hawked his wife down as she ran n horror at what he did then shot her as she ? Theories??

  3. I have to say that his act is wearing on me. He is like Amber Heard I am starting to really take offense that he tries to wordsmith everything and acts like he is such a good ole boy.

  4. I'm watching him testify and am sick of his smacking his lips. I looked it up and the experts in human behavior that it shows arrogance and self-righteousness behavior.

  5. That was the most boring and biased testimony I've ever heard. The fact that he sat in the courtroom everyday before he testified makes me believe his testimony even less.

  6. I believe family members should not testify if they are coercing the jury. In certain circumstances they certainly should like if they have been wronged. Here Buster was not working with the prosecuting attorney at all.

  7. How many people think Buster is protecting his Dad , Buster and Pops didn't seem to fear for there lives . I geuss because the bad guys or guy only wanted Paul lol

  8. Drives me crazy how all these assumptions from attorney “experts” that btw are not medical professionals are using their own perceptions of what happened including who was there at the night of the murders . His Aunt wasn’t there either but they used her testimony. There’s too many assumptions and labeling of Alex being a narcissist “ and other negative reviews. Unless you are a counselor or medical professional in this field you really shouldn’t have any weight on someone’s behaviors mental health or addiction issues. It really needs to stop. It’s all about what makes the news juicy and at times it’s so off the grid for a lot of reasons. People love this kind of stuff.

  9. I admire how strong some people are. Buster is always smiling whenever I see him. He’s stronger than father. Alex is crying a lot, he literally can’t stop the tears whenever court shows pictures or videos of dead son and wife. I kinda feel Alex is a crook but not a killer 🤷🏻‍♀️

  10. The guy here suggest Alex has to prove how Innocence however I thought the defense has to prove his guilt. If buster can explain some of the circumstantial evidence away of course he should testify.

  11. Love the subtle flex of dumbbells in the office. It shows he works super long hours, but also has GUNS. Probably some $100 bills and magnum condoms lying around if you zoom in.

  12. I believe cousin Eddie helped him he was hiding out took the guns there’s no was Alex was able to kill both with out one running or something

  13. The issue about the phone being either vertical or portrait… could mean: portrait it was on its back and positioned portrait. vertical could be it was standing in portrait mode? Also, Paul could have pushed his dad to the ground and that is why the gun was in that position

  14. There's a wild story about 'chip off the ol block' Buster hooking up with poor innocent Stephen Smith who was killed in a supposed hit and run car accident. The Murdaughs offered to represent the Smith family for free…..that's about as suspicious as it gets. Stephen's Dad mentioned that he knew his son was having relations with Buster.

  15. Just a thought. The night of the murders while Alex Murdaugh was being interrogated, he stated that Paul phone dropped out of his pocket. How would Alex know the phone dropped out of his pocket if he wasn't there when Paul was shot and fell to the ground????

  16. Can billets not ricochet? Who’s to say he didn’t fire the gun and the bullet ricocheted and shot upwards?

  17. He also said when he returned to Moselle, after his mom’s, he went to the house first but “they OBVIOUSLY weren’t there”, so he went to the kennels to check on them. The word OBVIOUSLY jumped out at me because it kinda shows he knew they weren’t in the house.

  18. He planned it out. It only took seconds to kill them, even using two guns. He hosed off at the kennels, then used the golf cart/ATV to drive to the house (Or, his steps show he was running around that time) and showered real quick. He took the guns to his Mom's (OnStar shows he went to the back of their property when he first arrived) and went back later to get the guns and hide/dispose of them better. There are way too many lies/inconsistencies with his "story", not to mention the fact of his behavior. If he really thought someone was seeking revenge and killed them, wouldn't Buster be his first call to make sure he was okay and to get somewhere safe? His financial situation was dire even before being approached by the firm. Maggie wouldn't sign over/mortgage the beach house, she found his multiple bags of pills (you're not just a user with bags of pills), and he needed the boat trial to go away so he wouldn't have to disclose financial info. He was all about buying time. He spent years robbing Peter to pay Paul (pun not intended) and thought he could continue. He owned LE (no doubt he was bribing local LE) and thought he could control the investigation and talk his way out. And, he was correct and almost did and might still get away with killing them. Very sad, but clear as day to me.

  19. Nothing Alex Murdaugh says is true, we already know that. So to reference what Alex said, as the defense does, and regard it as fact???
