Furious Suspect Uses Stolen SUV As Battering Ram Against Police

Akron, Ohio — On May 5, 2025, Akron Police Officers were called to the Tate Terrace apartment complex after 31-year-old Mikal Gamble allegedly crashed the stolen SUV into a car and forced the stolen vehicle through the wall of an apartment on Tate Terrace rented by the mother of a woman he once dated. The rampage caused a gas leak, as Gamble reportedly continued smashing the SUV into the building. When officers arrived, he turned the vehicle on them, ramming their cruiser and fleeing the scene.

The pursuit that followed saw Gamble using the SUV as a weapon multiple times, crashing into police vehicles in an effort to escape. After several attempts to stop him, officers were finally able to bring the chase to an end by pinning the SUV against a tree in a driveway. Gamble was taken into custody and now faces a lengthy list of charges including multiple counts of assault on law enforcement, inducing panic, failure to comply with police, vandalism, criminal damaging and obstructing official business. Investigators believe that Gamble stole the SUV and used it as a battering ram to seek revenge against the woman he once dated by destroying the apartment she shared with her mother.

    Must really blow to be a black criminal when the cops are blacker and tougher and better men than you, huh? Notice there was no whining about can't breaf or didn't do nuffin' or any of the usual cuz he knows it won't make them lighten up on him at all, LOL.
