   By the way, when did Exotic Dancing become part of the “sex industry “?
   When I Danced years ago, we weren’t getting paid for sex.

   Thank you for having me. This topic ripped my heart out and I had a real cry after filming it with Ana. That rarely happens to me. Mercedes did nothing wrong. She was harmed in a brutal and vicious way and that should never happen to anyone.
   The point that I was making is that exotic dancers are often the target of violence and the community response is usually dismissive. They are easy targets because people know where they work and know that they carry money on them. They’re often exploited in exchange for protection. I stand by what I said: Mercedes did nothing wrong. I am so proud of her family for keeping her name alive and I hope that they get justice and the full story as soon as possible.

    Sincere (sp?) looks nice. I know that sounds weird but his photo shows a kind face, unlike most mugshots I’ve seen. What a bizarre story.

    Poor Mercedes had an amazing life ahead of her, I’m certain. The PowerPoint presentation story brought tears to my eyes. Rest in peace, precious Mercedes 🥺

    I think the reason why Young's robbery charges were not dropped is because he had robbed other dancers from the same club as Mercedes too, Mercedes just happened to be the most vocal about it. My guess is they killed her to scare the other girls into silence.
    Also, the alleged murder is from the same city in TN as the robber too– so yea it'd be a hell of a coincidence.

    The person who killed her was paying off their debt to the person who was about to go to prison for life based on her testimony. He was going away forever anyway so he paid off his debt for getting caught. These gangs are organized and strategic.
