Its always those who seem to have it all together, and outwardly come across intelligent and have the career the wife and kids and a big home and even better morals (through religion) that commit the most dumb yet cruel crimes. I do think its arrogance which led to his sloppiness.

No, this man belong to a group/his religion, which is very control of therefore very regressive number one. I’m not condoning him doing this crazy bullshit, but religion is the root of all evil because we believe in a fairytale and then when people can’t live up to these ridiculous expectations, especially with founding Mormonism they want this white exceptionalism that’s crazy and then these people don’t live in reality already they have this magical thinking I can go on and on, but the root cause is his religion.
Maybe he has life insurance on his wife. He can get rid of her and a lot of $$$ to spend on his new woman.
Money. Does not want to have them take any material things, pay no child support, or split estate. The stupid part is most of the time they get caught and get nothing anyway cause they go to prison for murder. Insanity. Greed. Absolutely no love obviously. It is sad, sick and becoming a epidemic.

So sad for the wife. She was so forgiving and understanding for her husband. Even though he was cheating on her. She did all she could do. She than should have protect herself. She never thought about protecting herself. People makes us think we are selfish if we have a thought for ourselves. Who else is going to do it? Had she, she may be alive today? Never love anyone more than your own self. My prayers and condolences to the families.
When people have e no fear of God and a day of judgement they do things like this.
