   None of us agree with eighteen years. That is a slap on the wrist for the heinous crime he committed 26 years ago. Lorie fought so hard to live. I'm beyond appalled.

    18 years 😡😡 that POS lived 26 years free. They should have doubled that at least for his sentence 52 years if not life. The amount of manpower etc that went into this case inter solving it and they come up with 18 years who the hell comes up with this shit??? the victim and the victims family waited all that time. I can't imagine their disappointment with the outcome. Thats NOT JUSTICE THATS A JOKE. Are justice system today is laughable at best. And I wonder why a lot of people today don't trust in the system.😢😢 My heart goes out to the family.

    Why is 25 years considered a life sentence, it's more like 1/3 of life, 1/4 if you're lucky… or unlucky, if you have to spend it in prison.

    For some reason, it is always great to watch stories about people who committed vicious crimes and who get caught decades later. You know after a while, they thought that they got away with it. Also to think, that they had nice cozy jobs…

    Why was this a negotiated plea deal from murder to manslaughter when the DNA links him to the crime? How is that justice for her? Did he offer up an explanation for why he committed the murder? She was nude, it sounds like it was meant to be a sexual assault, and he is only serving 18 years after 26 years of freedom? How is that fair?

    If a corrections officer is a prison guard ( I'm in the UK). He won't last long inside. Other prisoners will have it in for him
