I'd like to see a comparison of our prison sentences with some other countries. I believe ours are exceptionally harsh. In Norway, Anders Breivik, who killed over 70 people, received a 21 year sentence which was the maximum Norway had in place at the time. Fortunately, as long as he's deemed a danger to society, he can be held after that. I hate the idea of any Wagners capable of reproducing getting out of prison. There's no reason to think they wouldn't resolve a future custody issue in the same way.

Secondly, I live in Ohio. That case is crazy and they definitely did not get enough time. My best friend was murdered by her husband in 1999 mid divorce/custody battle and his sentence was a JOKE!!! 😢

Jake Wagner’s sentence is a failure of justice. I am disgusted by his family. This situation happened because the Wagner’s thought they were the fictitious Corleone’s. The custody case was his! How do you try to take out multiple generations of a family? This case has made me lose my faith in humanity.

This is absolute proof our system is broken!!!!! The two who had the most involvement get the least amount of time? Where does that get right? I would be giving them all life w/o!!!!! Lock 'em up, throw away the key!!!!! All 4!!!!!!!!!! This sentencing is shameful!!!!!!!

P.s. – 30 years for 5 direct unalivings and 3 more with involvements? I know people who were caught with narcotics and zero deaths or violence get just as much h time in prison!!!
And the 8 lives were not all taken in the same place in one incident. Meaning it was very intentional to take out the whole family. And parole after 32yrs WTF. Total mental gymnastics by this judge…Why?
