  1. Whatever number she would have dialed, she didnt have much time at all. She had seconds. The guy would have attacked her anyway. And he was found anyway. So nothing would have changed anything.

Exceeeeept NOT walking any isolated area alone EVER, for any reason. I've seen too many of these cases, as soon as i see woods or isolated area, i run the opposite direction. Always stay in CROWDED areas, always by day and try not to be alone much.

  2. This is so sad. Doesn't matter which town, where it is, how small. A 14 year old girl should never walk her dog on an isolated trail by herself. EVER. We shouldn't have to live like this, but unfortunately as woman, we have to be very cautious. RIP April and prayers for her friends and family.

  3. Please call 911 or whatever emergency # give details of the person then text a boyfriend or a friend. If you feel uncomfortable thats what emergency # is for. Please be safe, never walk alone 😭
🙏🙏🙏🙏 to her family and loved ones 😢

  4. I'm not happy about this case. The only evidence was his girlfriend said he was cleaning his stuff that night, and his father is a convicted child secs offender. I hope they got the right person.

  5. My daughter hikes and she takes her two pups (one a pitbull), she and her pup actually helped other females when guys were following them. They quickly decide that messing with her pittie wouldnt be a wise decision. I got her a steel whip and am getting her a handgun since we don't need conceal carry permits where we live. Id eather have it and not need it then need it and not have it.
