3. The police who responded were typical, untrained and wrong. This looks like a narcissist relationship. She covered it up because the “love bomb” phases were giving her hope. He isolated her and controlled her. The denounce dismiss narcissist phase can escalate into physical abuse. They will use every shred of your happiness, hopes, dreams, to hurt you. Every shred of information to hurt you. They will infuriate you and then play innocent. Next day….love bomb. They isolate you and control your life. They hate you having anything for your self…hobbies, interests, friends…career. They especially hate previous relationships. My heart breaks seeing her. She tried to do her vlog vanlife dream, make it the way it was during “love bomb”.

   This lovely young person tried to have something for herself. He isolated her yet she still tried to have her own identity. Tried to have something of her own as he took her entire life away. His mother…like my narcissists mother coddled her little boy. There were many isolated times when I feel this could have been my story. I feel for you Gabby and you break my heart.

   For those out there…isolating is a red flag. Smiles and excuses are a red flag. Black eyes are A RED FLAG.
