11. I’m from the Golf of Mexico, Veracruz. My dad is a retired Aeronautical Marine, he always told me to not go to places like Tamaulipas where cartels are around, all Americans love Puerto Vallarta but we in Mexico know that some leaders live in Puerto Vallarta; that being said, cartels do have codes – to not mess with tourists or civilians… but there are times where you might be in the wrong place
    At wrong time like the lady that got killed / kidnapped.
    Now; with all those caravans crossing our country, now we are getting new “mafia “groups from Salvador, Honduras etc..trying to take control of our cities and those criminals will mess with any Mexican civilians or tourist.
