A Utah man robbed a Salt Lake City Wells Fargo bank for one dollar and waited for the police after offering employees a recommendation to call 911. 65-year-old Donald Santacroce asked if he could be sent to federal prison after handing over the stolen bill with no issues when police arrived to arrest him. The Law&Crime Network’s Sam Goldberg breaks it down with Fresh Out host Marcus “Big Herc†Timmons, an ex-convict who went to prison for 10 years for robbing a bank.

My fellow veterans may have to follow suit. The government has failed them so .They are alone, fearful, hungry, sick and homeless!
If I don't get employment soon I will do the same damn thing I'd rather spend 20 years in Federal Prison than to be homeless
America got money for war but no money for the homeless. Shame
Big Herc sounds like a very level headed, down to earth guy. I enjoyed listening to him.
This is the reason why charities exist in the first place
He even looks like red from the blacklist! Hes wearing the top hat, he's dressed in a suit looking and looking clean cut and fashionable. Why they arent saying why its because its more than just him giving up on himself and not being able to life. They would have said that if it was that simple. Look how hes dressed. Hes a classy man, hes well dreased, and he has manners, just look at the note he wrote. They are not saying what the real reason why is and thats because its highly confidential. Hes seeking protection imo and is going to help law enforcement do a takedown(s) in exchange
This man reminds me of red from blacklist. He was a spy who worked for the CIA and was a high profile target. So for safety reasons he turned himself in to the FBI and created the blacklist to help the FBI catch a slew of most wanted.
Who turns themself in unless they have a hit on them
He's seeking protection and that's why their not saying why he did a robbery for $1.00
Bro thinks he’s Michael Scofield
Either he's homeless or he needs free healthcare!!!ðŸ§Â
Did anyone ever think that he wanted to be put in that prison to get to someone that’s inside that prison?
If only brooks did this 😢
Brooks knew. Brooks knew all too well.
What if he was looking for some who might have hurt someone in his family
Bank robery is Bank robery the dollar amount doesn't make a difference !
He probably trying to get at someone In the feds
Might have needed healthcare.
This is interesting because a few weeks ago now, I heard a fast food place near me got robbed. I asked what happened and they said a man walked in, asked for a pen and paper. He wrote that this was a robbery, give me your money. They did and then he told them to call the police. He sat down and waited for them.
Awe , too bad they're not given a good life in prison, do the crime do the time. They were already losers before they had their freedom taken away.
He is obviously mentally ill. I feel sorry for him. He needs help.
I’m all for criminals rotting in jail, but this brought tears to my eyes.
Deadbeat? Idk I’m just able to look at it from a psychological standpoint…. He’s been officially institutionalized, mentally, and even when he isn’t there physically, he is clueless on how to begin life out here. Probably didn’t get taught much as a child either! Poor man is lost, and there’s no program that can un- learn that from him. I bet it’s all he knows. My heart is broken.
Life is not hard. You make it hard

Are these commentators that privileged and ignorant that they wouldn't understand a person wanting to go to prison so they aren't a financial burden to their family?!?!
Running from responsibility
This man is just tired of life itself and wants to be sent to federal prison so he could live peacefully 😅🎯
