13. were his parents aware that there was a dangerous criminal squatting on Dylan's land? If so, there's a factor of negligence on the part of his parents and the police for not immediately removing the criminal from the property and making sure he can't get back there.

There needs to be a total shake up of the criminal system and bring back the death penalty and start using it , and send a message to all out there that if you want to murder someone and you get caught , just realize your dead. No appealing for 20 years if your found guilty beyond a reasonable doudt then your put to daeth a week later. Good riddens. Start eradicating these violent offenders and slowly but surely the amount of murders and violent offenders will decrease by a lot. You have to have a deterant , something that is mssing big time. When yu give a person more time in jail for commiting a money crime or non violent crime it just proves what the government believes is most important in this world.
