The Florida wedding venue owner accused of waving a gun at guests to kick them out faces nine counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, without intent to kill. His lawyer, criminal defense attorney Ken Padowitz, said Miguel Rodriguez Albisu is “not guilty of anything†and called the case “complete self-defense.â€Â

Just another case where the public sees one side and jumps to conclusions. It's not unreasonable to suspect that the customers were breaking the contract and being aggressive. It's also not unreasonable to suspect that they physically attacked the owner and his son for trying to enforce the rules. If someone attacks you, you should point a gun at them, especially if it's a whole group like the attorney said. If you want to let people threaten, intimidate, and harm you, that's your right, but don't expect everyone else to be morally obligated to do the same. I wasn't there so I don't know who's right or wrong, but the attorney's argument is clearly reasonable. People just want to hate the owner because they hate capitalism and hate guns.

The owners tried shutting down the wedding before the deadline btw by the attorneys own admission and he didn't check the evidence at all. The owner is literally waving the gun around, that's not holstered and the defense attorney had to start back tracking.
First he said he NEVER upholstered the gun, then when the host points it out suddenly the defense goes "well there was a total eclipse and he left and came back with his gun"
