5. Seems like an easy case to prove 1st deg murder since she went to the house with a loaded gun and she had motive. Also, her DNA was found at the scene. Given that she's been free for 27 years and she has already served half of her 12 year sentence she could be eligible for release sooner than later.

40. I had to google it, but the reason why it took so long to arrest (2017) and convict (2023) is because the murder case went cold. The only reason why she got caught was do to DNA evidence.
