The fact that the police officer didn't jump in knowing he handcuffed this young man is disgusting. I don't understand how law enforcement always gets away with stuff like this and this police officer should be prosecuted for murder. After this tragedy happened that water patrol officer should have gotten fired or at least not allowed back on the water. The big question is why didn't that water patrol officer jump in when Brandon went overboard but instead of helping him he did absolutely nothing. The thing that really irritated me the most was how unprofessional the other water patrol officers were joking about this after this tragedy happened when I heard that I was disgusted

In Alabama they put the life vest on u if ur not already wearing one and then the cuff ur hands in front because they won’t reach in back with the vest on. This is just as bad as the cops who left 2 women in their car while it was taken over by flood waters in North or South Carolina a couple years ago. The cops who took me in were careful while we were on the water,I’ll give them that. I’d be willing to bet this cop hit that wake on purpose just to rattle him a little. The kid probably never saw the wave coming! That’s some senseless shit right there!
