This is one of about a million problems with women in the military. Settle down before you all go psycho on me. This isn’t a sexist rant. I’m an adult woman myself and also have a daughter I raise to be strong and independent . However, in the military, throwing girls into the mix has zero benefit and a million complications. They add no extra security to the country and really only cause issues with security. I know there is the more than a few capable ladies in the bunch but for the most part I wouldn’t want the chance of a smaller woman watching my husband or son’s back or holding them up when they need to get the heck out of wherever. Plus all the added married women cheating because of all the men they’re around and married men cheating because it’s been awhile and they’re convenient type problems and distractions from more pressing issues. JMO

It also amazes me that she still had the naive invincible teenager attitude and it’s part of the reason of why she was murdered IMO. I don’t think it’s all her fault, but personally I’d rather not go out with a guy and get drunk incase that guy also gets drunk and has bad thoughts. Everyone does but you’re supposed to protect yourself first, don’t expect someone who knows you superficially to care about you internally. Find real female friends to go out with & leave with, tell people where you are, update them, wear reasonable clothes and don’t just trust anyone willing to compliment you! You don’t need to fear the whole world but it helps to not be completely unaware of your surroundings and potential dangers!

She was young and didn't want to be tied down that didn't give him a reason to kill her. Poor girl she still should of gotten a ride home from someone and not walk home.
I believe she was very wise, yet why would she confront him on her why out and start walking home. How could she be that dumb. If she never confronted him or just got a ride home from anyone else there, she would not be dead. That is on her, and we all know it. She was a little too cocky and believed she could handle everything. Why…why did she have to tell him what a asshole he was when she was intoxicated, all alone and walking down the road. I know she knew better, yet those 10 seconds of a miscalculation brought her death. Stay in the bar, don't call him out and wait to a good soul could give you a ride home. Why was this not the course she took? That the only real question here.
