Bodycam footage shows the moment an alleged Jeep thief tries to flee Michigan police during a traffic stop on June 12. Authorities said 25-year-old Donald Brezzell allegedly started the car and hit the gas as an officer tried pulling him out of the driver’s seat. When Brezzell began to accelerate, the officer pulled himself into the vehicle to avoid being dragged for nearly half a mile. The Ferndale Police Department said officers arrested Brezzell after he stopped the vehicle in a Kroger supermarket parking lot. The Law&Crime Network’s Sierra Gillespie breaks down the wild ride.
