A Wisconsin homeowner got the shock of his life when he discovered a wanted shooting suspect hiding out in his attic. Newly released bodycam footage shows the resident recounting the bizarre confrontation to police on June 19th. “We’re thinking it’s an animal and he says no my name’s Robert,” the man explains, detailing the surreal moment he realized an intruder was lurking in the insulation.

Without hesitation, the brave homeowner sprang into action to subdue the suspect and protect his family. “I grabbed him, yanked him down, and said don’t f**king move until the cops get here,” he tells officers in the video. The suspect, identified as Robert Turner Jr., was wanted as the main suspect in a shooting the night before. Thanks to the homeowner’s quick thinking and the swift response of law enforcement, Turner was taken into custody and charged with three felonies, including armed robbery and recklessly endangering safety with a dangerous weapon.

  1. Ok. He must have been watching that house and saw that they leave the door open. Then figured it would be an easy place to rob. But they came home soon after he got in and so he went up into the attic to hide.

  2. The cop sounds Canadian. I’m not sure if he’s Canadian or American the curiosity is killing me

  3. Idk why they keep saying this "area looks disturbed…there a hole…its dug out here" but also looking for a weapon that is definitely "buried" lol that man look like he was swimming in insulation….nd as no weapon is obvious, yes it is buried so an indent would not matter.
Also doesn't insulation make your skin slightly burn and itchy?….all that is definitely not good to breathe in nd pick at bare hands. This cop is going above and beyond. 😅

  4. “I feel bad for him, but at the same time, I don’t.” 👁️

  5. That’s crazy, you go from thinking he’s just a harmless homeless guy and kinda feeling bad to finding out he just tried to kill people the night before

  6. Tells the cop he stopped for a drink then says he had rhe gun on him when he got home..smart 🤦‍♂️

  7. I wasn’t paying attention at all then I just hear the cop talking about chili Mac😭😭where tf that come from

  8. 34:20 love this whole interaction 😂
Also all the discussion regarding the one officer’s soup haha
And how that one officer was 200% ready and willing to crawl around in the attic until he found the gun 👏🏻

  9. “The dog barks at me if I go to the bathroom in my own room” HAHAHAAAAAAA this guy is funny and doesn’t even try to

  10. This is the boring part of police work lol. It’s about 10% catching bad guys and 90% talking to witnesses and crawling around attics with 70 year old blown in insulation

  11. anyone else catch the 3 ques from the cop about 'are you renting' – basically saying he needs details for report for the renters insurance but he cant outright say it the cop probably rents too.

  12. what a sweet guy. most people after drinking like anything become kinda rude and obnoxious but my dude was straight up with them, he was super cooperative, didnt kill the guy in the attic XD and on top of that he vacuumed the cops off lmfao that had my dying of laughter he said i gotchu homie you got my back i got your back 🙂

  13. I love the energy this dude has when he starts talking about his new rifle, he's obviously excited to show off the new toy to the cop just look at his face when he pulls out the ammo

  14. Notice how he didnt ask them who was driving or how they got home after he said they'd had a few drinks at the bar—The difference between Canada cops and parasitic USA cops
