Rodney Lincoln remains behind bars, accused of killing ex-girlfriend Joann Tate and trying to kill her children. After watching Crime Watch Daily’s earlier investigation on the story, one of the victims changed her mind and decided Lincoln didn’t really kill her mom. Michelle Sigona has been following the case for Crime Watch Daily.

  1. I thought this is only happened in Philippines that innocent people go to jail until their death. Unbelievable, what’s wrong with this country. How could you put the wrong person in a jail while the criminals are free and still doing their crimes.

  2. That justice system is so ridicolous 😀 mid eval times 😀 starting by having a jury to all the other bullshit. Jesus. How can that even happen? 😀 There is no other first world country with such an enormous rate of false imprisonments. Or that people sit in jail for a decade and have to fuckign wait for a new trial 😀 All the cases were DNA evidence proofs the innocense later means that there was never enough other evidence to proof a crime by justice standpoints at all. There was always reasonable doubt. A fucking Jury just does not understand justice and law thats why people sit in prison. They get led by emotions ALWAYS not facts. This theatrical winning mentality of lawyers and attornys instead of trying to solve a case is fuckign bullshit.

  3. that is a taff one…I would not be able to say whom I believe…i somewhat want to believe him…but on the other hand …if he would be considered inoccent ,he would get paid…and that could be the reson the woman with purple hair is after.

  4. She did not lie people! She actually believed for years that he committed this crime. Once she seen all the overwhelming evidence that proved it couldn’t possibly be him, she realized she was just a traumatized 8 year old girl who was forced to pick a perpetrator quickly to close the case.

Free this man! Come on judicial system, he, the victim and their families has dealt with enough. Let them live past this day that has haunted them their whole lives! Geez!

  5. all state is trying to do is to prevent paying big fat pay check if Rodney is declared innocent and he sue the state for millions of dollars. For Gov it about money not not justice!!!

  6. Can you imagine being locked up for a crime you didn't commit and had absolutely nothing to do with?! I would go insane!

  7. It's ridiculous that the person who's testimony was the only reason someone was convicted, but isn't good enough to free that person. Even crazier is the fact that her testimony that convicted him was when she was a child! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! The Justice system in the US is a joke!! This is not what or founding fathers had in mind when building this country. The whole idea of having different courts was designed to find and enforce justice, not opinion. It's just wrong! My prayers go out to Rodney, his family, and the victims who have lost so much.

  8. We'll never know for sure since the victim is so wishy-washy (what about the other sister?) but my gut feeling says he's indeed responsible.

  9. That’s just sad I’m sure for him is like a endless nightmare.. I pray they look over the case again and give him his freedom of whatever life he got left to be with his family

  10. They need to test the hair found at the scene with Tommy Lynn Sells DNA profile that authorities must have on file from previous convictions. .

  11. This is so, so bad. The ‘justice’ system is a complete joke. DNA is a powerful piece of evidence & the dna here clearly shows that this dire crime was not committed by the man who is currently doing time for it. Its ridiculous; either that or the judge just couldn’t be assed to put in the work. Shame on him.

  12. You do;t change your mind often what 30 years ..that man has been in jail so so so long .. this is one fucked up case

  13. Wow, it's almost like assuming every accused person is guilty, then howling for blood and vengeance like people do on every other Crime Watch video is dangerous and irresponsible.
