12. I feel bad for the attorney. He can’t really argue her innocence, but he has a duty to represent her as she’s plead not guilty

14. The real purpose of providing a "defense" is to ensure that due process is seen to take place, not to exonerate someone who is so CLEARLY guilty. So in open and shut cases like this, it is more about the integrity of the justice system itself, in spite of the fact that in purely ethical terms, a moral defense lawyer should only try to fight for a party they know to be innocent, not to look for legal loopholes to get the guilty off from facing the justice they deserve. But that is the nature of the world we live in.

15. Not much of a closing defense argument. A litany of events. No proof of innocence. No arguments worth 2cents. Filler is all he had.
