The Philadelphia Police Department and the Shooting Investigation Group is asking for the public’s assistance for information in reference to a shooting that occurred at 3101 N. 22nd St.
On September 20, 2022, a large group of juveniles started a fight outside of the Patani Rec Center. As the fight began, two males were observed exchanging a firearm by the front doors of the rec center. As the fight progressed towards the corner of 22nd and Clearfield multiple shots were fired, striking a rec center employee inside of her vehicle. One suspect continued to fire shots while running around the rec center and through the basketball courts. An additional two suspects were seen on police cameras at 22nd and Clearfield St handing off a firearm before fleeing the area.
- Suspect Description:
Suspect #1: Black male, medium brown complexion with facial hair, black balaclava mask, black hooded jacket with white logo on the back, black “New Balance†sweatpants, “Adidas†Yeezy Boost 700 sneakers.
Suspect #2: Black male, medium complexion, thin build, dark grey “Nike†hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, blue “New Balance†sneakers.
Suspect #3:Â Black male, black balaclava face mask, grey hooded sweatshirt with navy blue stripes down the sleeves, black sweatpants with white logo over upper left thigh, white and black sneakers.
