  2. This video is not up to your normal high standards. Here you argue not from the law (which you admit is not on your side) but from feelings. That's a dangerously slippery slope. You would not stand for cops who tried to enforce their feelings. Since, as you say, this cop broke no law, you must show that he somehow abused his position as a police officer to take advantage of someone. But you present no evidence of such abuse of power. (I'm not saying that no such evidence exists; only that none was presented here.) Your real goal should be to get the government to change that law more to your liking (without putting an 18 year old on the sex offender list (a lifelong punishment) for having a relationship with a 16 year old, that is, the Romeo and Juliet exception in some states.)

    Sorry for this long post, but I really wanted to share. I watched the video of that 'see you next Tuesday' officer Breanna Straus, and it prompted me to post my little story. I'll probably share this on other channels as well.

    Back in the early 80s I worked at a Kmart in Reno Nevada. A friend/coworker, would always comment about how much he wanted to be a cop, as his father was an LEO in Elko Nevada. One day while socializing with a few afterwork beers, I asked him why he wanted to be a cop so bad. His EXACT reply: "They're better than you." This. Is. Their. Mindset! They want to be, and think they are, better than citizens! He did go on to be a cop, got married and eventually had a son. And then a 16 year old boyfriend. That's right. A 43 year old family man with a 16 year old boyfriend. He has since died in 2003.

    His name was Vinten Hartung. Google him.

  29. The seriously creepy part of all of this is apparently the parents approved of the relationship between their 16-year old son and the 23-year old police officer. They had the cop over for dinner and let him hang out with the kid after all. Very creepy.

Heard about that, according to the police they’re having a very hard time finding people that want to be police and there have been times when someone has seriously hurt or killed another person and that cop didn’t even pass the psych exam. So they are letting them be cops whether they’re pedophiles whether they don’t pass the psych exam whether if they are so overweight that they can’t run after someone whether they kill people it doesn’t matter now. It’s the worst to me that it’s been since I was born. Just wow!!!
