In this episode of Adventures with Purpose, we travel to Linwood, KS from Oregon in search of Randy Leach who has been missing for 32-years.
Missing Since: 04/15/1988
Missing From: Linwood, Kansas
Classification Non-Family Abduction
Sex: Male
Race: White
Date of Birth: 07/25/1970 (50)
Age: 17 years old
Height and Weight: 6’3, 220 pounds
Clothing/Jewelry Description: A blue pocket t-shirt, blue Levi’s jeans, white low-cut sneakers and white socks.
Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian male. Brown hair, blue eyes. Randy has a mole on his left ear.
On April 16, 1988, Harold and Alberta Leach of Linwood, Kansas reported the disappearance of their son, Randy Wayne Leach, to the Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Department.
Subsequent investigation determined that Leach was last seen in the early morning hours of April 16, 1988, at a high school pre-graduation party given by a classmate in rural Leavenworth County, Kansas.
Leach had driven to the party in his mother’s gray 1985 Dodge 600 4-door sedan.
During the course of the investigation, no one was located who saw Leach or his vehicle leave the party.
To date, neither Leach nor his vehicle has been located.
The investigation to date has produced sufficient information to believe that Leach has been the victim of foul play in this missing person case.
The deeper we got into this investigation, the stranger it became.
Was Randy part of a sacrifice?
Was he taken out for witnessing a drug shipment gone wrong?
Did he end up in the trunk of his mother’s car and driven across state lines to be disposed of in a car shredder?
Is there a police cover-up in this small rural community?
While we feel there are people who know what happened to Randy, there also is a reason they have not come forward.
Even though Harold and Alberta would like to find out who is responsible for Randy’s disappearance, the only thing they want more is to find Randy.

My God…way to long a story get to the point..she knows what happened
I lived in a small town from the late 80's – late 90's. It was common knowledge that the County Sheriff was the biggest drug dealer in the surrounding area and there were several people who "mysteriously" ended up missing/murdered. Could be a similar situation here.
She is involved
“When Randy is foundâ€. I love how Jared says that. When.. because he will. I pray his father has reunited with him in some form, and I hope both know people are and will always try to find answers.
LeAnn you did more than anyone else that night, don’t you dare feel guilty about anything.
She knows what happened and told us by not implicating anyone directly: Randy threatened to report the drug dealers and trafficking going on. He was trying to help his new girlfriend. His drink was drugged. Three people took him from the car. He is buried in the woods. His car was crushed. Law enforcement has covered this up because they were involved in the drug dealing. 📢
Arrest the woman who gave this party. She will in turn confess to who all committed this murder and who the law enforcement officers were that covered this up. 👮
I've never heard of someone helping themselves to a roofie but only cases where another has slipped it into a drink. This makes me think Randy was slipped something. Perhaps they targeted Randy and were waiting for it to take effect. Only LeeAnn saw his condition and put him in her car, and then when he was alone again they grabbed him as they had originally intended. Who knows why? Perhaps they were afraid of his wanting to pull his girlfriend out of the drug-running crowd.
He was Against the drugs. The lady that gave party was selling, someone purposefully spiked him. He tried to leave, the adult lady probably set him up. The friend intercepted him leaving in this car They feared he would blow their. cover and did AWay with him
one of the family members.
I believe he was kept quite in the house and with the fire they tried to get rid of the evidence in the fire. That is where the second fire came in.
The parents were getting too
Close to the truth.
So that is why they had an Arson attempt on their car And them.
This is my Theory.
I so would want info on the lady that threw the party and the other family there.and who gave the dope to the kids at the party.
And who provided the sale to selling, dealing "want to be cool mom".

After listening to this, is it possible that someone slipped him something, they found him dead on property due to fall or aspiration and got rid of him and the car. The mother hosting the party sounds shameless and didn't they move shortly after? The community's behavior is deplorable to allow this family to suffer all this time to cover up people's bad behavior. For Pete sake, this is someone's child. He had value, he was loved and this family deserves more from their neighbors
How did he drive away without knowing where his keys were?
Maybe he overdosed at the house and then they covered it up?
LeAnn made a point of saying that she locked Randy in her car. How would someone be able to get in? Was Randy able to unlock the door? He was impaired. Seems a little suspect.

Am i the only 1 who noticed she vaguely mentioned a boyfriend & that they'd argued at the party & the b/f left early. Is it not possible the b/f returned while she was inside & found Randy in the passenger seat of her car & something ensued from that? & she may have never even suspected that & naturally the b/f would go to great lengths to keep it from her IF he was involved or knew anything about it because of Randy being her friend.
Idk i'd just like to hear more about the b/f. How long was she dating, how well did she know him, how long did he stay in that town afterwords, etc. because in my opinion that IS a very plausible scenario that wasnt even mentioned.
So According to LeeAnn whomever was the drug pusher at the party is guilty, he needs to be investigated
Rohipnol is a common date rape drug. Who really uses that for recreational party drugs?
If she was in on his disappearance, the putting Randy in her car gave perfect access and separation of him from the party. Her going to use the restroom was a way of separating herself from the events. I think she's played a part and a good story teller. She needs a lie detector and further interviews. Something is off with her.
