14. The insurance company has a lease… That would make it their property until the lease ends. But, …

    If that's the case, then it has a govt subsidy! $800k over a 50 year lease is $40,000,000!! Far more than the cost of the work invested…
    I would say that if they want complete control of it, then they have to pay for all of it! Just buy the land and be done with it!

43. I have a question someone smarter than me may know….how does the city of Daytona Beach lease land owned by the citizens out to a private company? I would think that couldn't happen unless it was put to a vote on a referendum….it's the taxpayers land….NOT the officials of Daytona. Unless the voters gave their consent for the city to take that action….that lease isn't legal is it?
