3. Fighting the cops (throwing punches, kicking, using a weapon, etc) should be an automatic felony (EVERYWHERE) in all states. The lone exception being if the cop goes off mentally unhinged and tries to kill you for a bad tail light or some other minor infraction.

24. I moved to western WA 7 years back….I've heard SO much about Renton and Aberdeen residents I don't even want to stop for gas.
    We had some people move into our building awhile back and when shit started kicking off on the regular, which also means regular police visits, I overheard some other neighbors talking (they were leaning over the balcony watching the curfuffle). I asked them what was up with the police [why are they here AGAIN?!] and they said, 'We know what's up with these people now…they're from Renton.'
    That seemed to be a more than satisfactory answer to the dozen or so other residents who had begun stepping out their apartments because of the ruckus. Like the mystery of wtf had been going on the past few weeks had suddenly been made crystal clear. It was amazing, I'd never seen a reaction like that before and I've been in some hairy parts of big cities.

    I've seen/heard people talk about neighborhoods to avoid plenty before in my travels around the country but never have I heard of entire towns being warned against short of places like Chicago, NYC or Corpus Christie.
