Where CAN YOU cross the road in Florida? Here’s where!

Florida traffic laws can be tricky. Pedestrians can receive costly tickets. In all instances you should cross the roadway at 90° unless impractical to do so or take the shortest route and yield to traffic outside of a crosswalk.

Not legal advice – my experience and opinion based on my previous law enforcement experience.

  1. Ur a former cop but have u ever gave out a ticket for these reasons that are not illegal and said they were illegal ?…or anything that was legal and said it was illegal ?

  2. Please make a video advising drivers of their responsibilities in crosswalks. Most are unaware of where the actual STOP line is.
