The Philadelphia Police Department and the Shooting Investigation Group is asking for the public’s assistance for information in reference to a shooting that occurred at 1900 W. Cecil B. Moore Ave on Tuesday, March 21, 2022.
The victim was walking alone on the 1900 block of W. Cecil B. Moore Ave and passed a group of juveniles. After passing, one male from the group wearing a hooded sweatshirt fired multiple shots at the victim, striking him once in the left thigh. The group then fled westbound on Cecil B. Moore Ave on foot. Responding officers transported the victim to a local hospital for medical treatment.
