Oklahoma City, Oklahoma — The Oklahoma City Police Department released body-camera footage that shows the moment Crasteven Kennon Wilson, 23, shot Officer Bryce Sheehan in the leg as he tried to search the suspect for weapons in southeast Oklahoma City. Around 5:50 p.m. March 2, Officer Bryce Sheehan responded to a report of a disturbance or suspicious person in the 2300 block of South Kate Avenue. Police said Officer Sheehan found the suspect near Southeast 21st Street and Emco Drive. “You got any weapons?” Officer Sheehan asked Wilson while responding to a call about a suspicious person.

“Can I pat you down real quick? Make sure you don’t have any weapons? Here, don’t reach for nothing.” Wilson mumbled “yeah,” but instead quickly turned around and shot Officer Sheehan, striking the officer in the right leg before running to his patrol car and trying to drive off. “Shots fired, shots fired!” Officer Sheehan yelled. “I’m hit!”. The Oklahoma City Police Department used a drone to find Wilson, who was hiding outside a nearby home. Authorities say officers took him into custody and provided first aid after seeing he had been shot. Wilson was taken to a hospital and later died. Officer Sheehan was treated and released from OU Medical Center. He was placed on routine administrative leave.

  1. Glad this officer is going to be alright. The officer was calm and cool with the dude and still this guy took shots at him. I’m sure these idiots out here are gonna call this racist or profiling or murder. Oh well. The suspect is dead and going to hell and the officer is going home alive and well. Speedy recovery officer!

  2. Not really "well" trained, he should've not gotten up close to him like that, he's super lucky he didn't get headshotted at pointblank range and the suspect kept missing. Everything after he drew his gun out was well training though but that was because the suspect sucked, luckily of course.

  3. And people get pissed when Police are jumpy when dealing with people that could end them in a split second , someone's going to blame white supremacy or Trump , you made the choice and died for it l have no sympathy for you and only praise and respect for the officer and hopes he makes a speedy recovery

  4. I actually like these videos cause people don't know what it's actually like to be a cop. Keep up the great work officers hope for a speedy recovery thank God it was only his leg. And the citizens that came out to assist shows there's still good people around

  5. I'll never walk towards someone with his sleeves over his hands. On top of that he just put his hand in his pocket after he asked for weapons.

Glad the officer is ok. Dogshit citizens like this just need to bleed out… The fact I Gota watch police give medical aid just shits me to tears.
