  1. I get the daycare wrong but you trying to tell me EVERY parent was there to get they’re child by 6pm…. Her azz prolly showed up late asf. 7:157:30 cause she ain’t responsible. Said she normally the at 6-630 cause she has to get her other child at 6, wtf

  2. I can actually argue FOR the daycare workers. My ACTUAL mom (straightedge, doesn't drink, or smoke or anything) would take me to the mall. Tell 6-year-old me, "Don't go nowhere." I would go somewhere… AND SHE WOULD GO HOME! Leave me at the mall for looking at the new Legos!

  3. Ain't no way … everyone would've had to meet their maker cuz these bullets would've… God knows man… left my 2 year old in a locked building by herself

  4. Life is changing & so is work-life balance. Many more creative accessible opportunities for income that allows us to raise our own children IF we prioritize supporting each other's efforts. Fck corporate enslavement & bs American dreaming that has us passing our babies off to the next mom who was prob facing the same prospect if she was late, too. Traditional American dream is not even cool anymore but it's never been for Blacks.

  5. Kinder care has been trash! N its bare minimum and barely affordable smh this is the reason we have log books too like how yall ain't triple check who wasnt picked up?? I'd have all dey asses!🤬😑

  6. I worked in schools for decades. You GOT to keep that clipboard close! Keep attendance and double triple check multiple times a day. ESPECIALLY with toddlers who do what they want.

  7. Ya I would sue! Ain't no fucking way I wouldn't. I want to beat some ass! A two year old could've hurt themselves. Anything could've happened. I'm pissed 😡 I pray this little girl can heal from this

  8. If it’s my job to be responsible for someone’s kid and the parent taking to long to get them and i have to be somewhere to pick up my kid and i got no one to cover for me… sorry i gotta take that kid with me because i am not leaving then alone. i will notify the parents, tell them where to meet me and if they get upset i dont care. i did the responsible thing and no one was in danger.

  9. That child was smart enough to put a chair up to the door to look out to let her mom see her. This is horrible. How could they not double check the attendance list or check every room before closing?? This is a scary time we are living in for sure. 😔🥺

  10. I have 4 sons and have been very lucky to have family & friends when it came to watching my boys when they were younger.

But if things were different, and THAT happened to one of mine, I wouldn't ask permission to break those windows, and I guarantee that daycare would've been burnt down come the following morning.

  11. Sad thing is daycare teachers, the people who take care of our kids when we can’t, are some of the least paid essential workers. Add a vaccine mandate on top of that and u lose a lot of quality workers sadly. Daycare owners are basically forced to hire people who meet the bare minimum in job requirements. State officials know this but don’t care. Smh

  12. I remember the is story of a woman who accidentally locked her baby in the car. And she panicking whatever and calls the cops for help… they did a “It’s a Miracle” story on it 🙄 like lady break the window if you that concerned with the kid. But she didn’t!

  13. None of this is new people. Stop acting like the world is ending. Just like with police brutality, phones and the ease to get your story out just changed. If this happened pre-social media you wouldn't have heard a thing. Hell, I got left at school when I got bussed there in the 80s. So while these folks are messed up please stop acting like the world just came to an end once social media came out.

  14. I went to sleep on the school bus as a youngin and the bus driver didn’t realize I was still on the bus until she got home and was cleaning the bus smh. My parents weren’t home from work yet, so she let me watch tv and I at dinner with her family. The was my first time eating with white folks lol…
