also mike im from the uk and we have always had the points system for driving licences once you go over 12 points you get an instant 6 month or 3 month ban from driving
, its i think 6 points for no insurance and say 3 points for speeding or not wearing a seat belt, you can also get 3 points if your tyres have no tread and are below the legal limit and i think its 3 points for using your phone while driving ( not hands free)

Reports state that there was a live round. The shot went through the woman who lost her life, and then hit the second person who was injured. This sounds like a FMJ round. Hallow point would have expanded when it hit tissue as opposed to continuing to travel through. This could change depending on where she was hit, but it was likely FMJ. BUT as I said to someone earlier today, Alec pulled the trigger. Even though they were filming a movie, it's real life. I would have cleared the firearm the moment I touched it. I would also inspect any blank I was expected to fire. Basic safety training in firearms would have prevented this while situation. I don't think he should avoid charges because he thought he was pretending.

Most firearms in movies are real firearms with Blank Fire Adapters threaded into the barrel.. This allows for different blanks, such as day blanks, night blanks.. etc.. There are throw down guns which are usually made from plastic/rubber… Mind you, we always had a No Live Ammunition rule on set. and more often than not, The Theatrical Ordnance Armorer would hand the firearm and magazines to an actor… They would check check check… to make sure its the correct firearm and blanks for that scene.. Blanks still generate enough pressure to cycle , blanks are dangerous and we usually ran a minimum 6 meter 6 yard rule..
