Bothers me so much that this woman is clearly been and being abused by this man, I have been through this exact situation, and the police don't seem to understand that the things abusers do, don't make sense sometimes, the woman was in distress and I understand her explanation completely but the cops aren't getting it. 36. This is why calling the cops is a bad idea unless you truly are in danger and you truly want the person you are calling about to be locked up. Chances are in a dv situation you will both end up getting locked up and you will be dealing with it for months or even years to come.
