which Ortiz is this, when I was doing salary lookups there were a lot of Deputy Ortiz's… and most of their total base pay, overtime, other pay, benefits was in excess of $200,000 with a couple around $300,000… for a yappy little jerk who wants to make comments about peoples weight, seems he's due for another complaint that will dock a few more days and prevent overtime signup. (its ridiculous how many make more in overtime than their base salary)

He was assigned to a special (deputy gang) detail…."undercover"….that is why his answer: "I had vid, i almost died, but i recovered and here i am" is so obviously what he was told to say if anyone asked. To my understanding if you have it that bad, and are hospitalized you will probably be gone within 16 days….and lets say hospitalized but recovered is a 2-3 month turn around…but 8 months?! no way
