Crash Investigation and DUI Arrest (Las Cruces, NM)

Almost every populated area – no matter how big or small – has one or more people known to cause trouble. I’m not talking the hardened criminal type; rather, the people who cause more problems for themselves than for anyone else. The “non-pillars-of-the-community” that the police know by name. The frequent flyers.

It seems that we may have found one belonging to Las Cruces. This guy was going to go shooting – again – despite being so intoxicated that he could not independently avoid walking into a cactus.

  1. The cop was in such a good mood. Just shows, you can be a drunking fool, and as long as you’re decent, the cops will be too. A little more of a serious note. Luckily nobody got killed. He was obviously pretty hammered.

  2. If they weren’t drunk they probably would have been killed in that crash. They better thank god in Heaven they didn’t kill anyone. I hate drunk drivers.

  3. Good thing I drink alot more than two beers and go more than 20, it seems like according all these videos "two beers and going 20" is the most dangerous combination across the board.

  4. Handgun and a shotgun!! These two guys were definitely looking to get into trouble!! It’s probably better for them they got into an accident!

  5. This guy is plastered he is slurping his words can’t count backwards doesn’t know the abcs because he didn’t go to college. The best part was when he almost fell in the cactus and asked the cop that he didn’t do good enough to pass the test. His parents must be so pleased. I love it when these idiots are so wasted they don’t realize that they totaled their car.

  6. You know I can understand how disgusted police get with drunk drivers and others that break the law. But still show a bit of courteous behavior. You will get more and they will give more. I know folks are gonna blow their stacks at this. Just think how we all would feel if we were watching them cover bodies, not trying to make them pieces of crap. That realization will come soon enough, without help. But hey my Lord Jesus will forgive you, blessings to all!!

  7. Oh my God, this guy is a public defender's nightmare. As soon as they reviewed the video of the Field Sobriety Test, I guarantee tears were shed.

  8. Ahh Las Cruces, where only the brave drive after 9pm. Streets fold up at 8pm. Only the shift workers and drunks are out past that time.
