Cleveland Police Locate Stolen Bag at Airport, Victim (“D1”) Gives Officer a Hug – Everything Law and Order Blog

In late-June 2019 D’Ron Maingrette, 33, a former competitive gamer and current e-sports commentator better known as “D1,” went to Cleveland for a weekend birthday party. To get back to his home in California, Maingrette flew out of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

Due to an ankle injury, Maingrette used a wheelchair to get around the airport. It/he was pushed by an airport wheelchair attendant. Apparently, the attendant didn’t do much attending. Or at least not much paying attention.

According to Maingrette, he stopped to use a restroom near his gate prior to his flight. Knowing that he would only be gone for a minute, Maingrette left his bag on the (attended) wheelchair during the stop.

You know where this is going. Of course, when Maingrette returned his bag was gone. That left him without his wallet… or his passport. Not a good position to be in when you have a flight to catch like… now.

Watch as officers of the Cleveland Police Department find Maingrette’s bag — in the hands of an unexpected thief.

Also, a heartfelt hug.

  1. This one was a rollercoaster, on one hand I was really happy when he got his bag back but on the other hand I then read the description and remembered where I knew that rapist from. So that part isn't great, but at least someone got a bag back even if the specifics make it a little… bittersweet. Let's just hope that party he was flying out to was just a totally fine and healthy party for consenting adults.

  2. Stealing a bag in a secure area, then using your credentials to surreptitiously bring it onto a commercial flight with no record of the bag, is a misdemeanor? This policy seems very pro-terrorism.

  3. Too complicated? No it just involved black people 🤣😂 😬
Every video title would be too complicated if you felt you had to explain the whole thing but some how you come up with titles for just about everything.
"MAN HAS BAG STOLEN IN AIRPORT"
    LMAOOOOOO yea way too complicated.
"How do we describe Bad People as victims of a crime?"

    "Damn idk" 😂😂🐑🐑

  4. He asked if he could give him a hug after he determined everything was in it!🤣 I don’t blame him either, the officer just saved him from a trip to the DMV/MVA, that alone’s worth a hug.

  5. He was going to give it to the gate agent… but.. he took it on the plane? This donut thinks its totally fine to take someone's belongings and travel across the entire country. That's called theft bud.

  6. I bet that guy is going around telling all his Florida friends that some Cleveland police officer harassed him for no reason when he was trying to be a good citizen and he lost his job because of some bullshit.

  7. The sound and pity of a thief., Making excused stumbling, also D1 better tip the ABN wheelchair pusher good, they live off that
