Ohio State Highway Patrol Helicopter Locates Wanted Felon in Woods

On April 13, 2019 Ohio State Highway Patrol’s aviation unit was called upon to assist Ashland County Sheriff’s Office with their search for Kyle Billick, a wanted felon who had been seen in the county and was thought to be hiding in an area of dense brush near Cinnamon Lake.

Watch as airborne troopers convince Billick to give himself up, and as Ashland County Sheriff’s Office deputies escort the fugitive out of the woods and into custody.

Billick was charged with resisting arrest and obstructing official business. He pleaded no contest to the charges, but was nonetheless found guilty and sentenced to 50 days in jail on April 15, 2019.

  1. That PA absolutely sucks. I couldn’t make out a single word that was said. I wonder how loud they are compared to the sound of the rotors when heard on the ground. Can somebody tell me what was said on the PA?

  2. Night vision tracking blood at night, so the cop use this night vision to find people hide any were on the ground. Cop have power so you can not run away from them.

  3. We would leave Albert alone but white people don't care about him. They let us blow up his engine at the mechanic shop, they even let us take perfectly good teeth out of his mouth at Western dental in Riverside California.

  4. Dang … how come the white guys always walk out unharmed … no elbows, no face plants, no knee in the back, no screaming and cursing, just placed in the cruiser and straight to the donut shop

  5. Easy way to hide from thermal is a piece of glass. Thermal can’t see through glass. Criminals are dumb. If I was on the run they would never catch me.

  6. I have heard my sheriffs department and the OSP work together a few times on my scanner looking for somebody. That’s pretty sweet to hear it in person as it is actually happening

  7. Note to self,,,,,,,

  10. That helicopter 🚁 operator has some amazing persuasion skills….
Helicopter PA: “Phil!! If you don’t stand up and get from underneath that damn branch there’s a K9 about 20 yards away that’s gonna fuck you up!!”
Perp: (Stands up and walks towards cops who’s didn’t know where he was ) lmao

  11. He was wanted for obstructing official business, and resisting arrest… Oh he sounds so damn dangerous … I'm so glad they spent all that money to find this dangerous person who resisted their arrest when they accused him of obstructing official business. Yep sure sounds like a dangerous felon to me …
