Police Respond to Report of Ex-Boyfriend Breaking Into House – Everything Law and Order Blog

His strategy didn’t quite work out…

If you came here thinking that you would find background information on this incident, that expectation is both reasonable in light of past stories and — just for now — mistaken. I have no idea what happened to the incident report associated with this event. Another copy is already in the works, but in the meantime: what do you think was happening?

  1. That cop is the reason people want them defended. Can't run. Can't go hands on. Strait up sissy cops out there. Unless dude had weapon which I did not see there was no excuse for any of the cops to pull a gun which I saw twice. SAD. n Im usually biased in cops favor!

  2. I disagree with everything this officer did. Could've been a better approach shouldn't have gotten out and taken out the firearm or the taser you should've simply gone to retrieve the phone for the man and than trespass him from the property. Please send him back to the academy. I would also suspend this office without pay for 90 hours. This was pathetic.. I'd expect better from Las Cruces PD. Absolutely disgusting.

  3. Wtf he had no weapon, he fell bloody faced to the ground, but the cop felt he needed to taze him 3 or 4 more times. Cops have to much power.

  4. "if you're able to say you can't breathe then you're breathing." Oof this officer didnt see the floyd video

  5. Pull up to a scene and immediately point your gun at someone screaming for them to get on the ground…yeah, that’s a completely reasonable use of force and sure to deescalate the situation in no time flat.

  6. I feel sorry for cops having to deal with people like this guy. The officer only gave him like 30 requests that he chose to ignore. Why do people like this just make everything worse for themselves? Cops are not perfect but refusing to cooperate rarely leads anywhere good. Just look at what happens to all the sovereign citizen idiots who think they can break the law in front of law enforcement and get away with it.
