Yeah we are advised now in our yearly first aid training (UK police) that we would avoid any sort of 'mouth to mouth' resuscitation because of the health risks (even whilst using a shield) as the predominant demographic sadly are those who have a significant risk of passing on diseases such as TB, HIV, hepatitis and so forth. Most vehicles now have a full face mask and ventilator bag anyway.

  18. Happened to a buddy of mine about 30 years ago. Firefighter/EMT performing mouth to mouth. Vomiting occurred and some was reflexively swallowed. He quit the next day and went into an unrelated career. Literally gave him PTSD and he can't eat Italian food to this day.

  21. I like that St.Micheal package. Thats a great show of love, honor and respect. My gut tells me its from someone who may have lost somebody in the line of duty. I couldn't imagine i still thank god my brother came home from OIF. I only wish i could follow his and my grandfathers and uncles' steps. Mostly military men but I even yearn to have served as a first responder. Everyday i am thankful that such people exist in both occupation, and in spirit.

  22. I just can't picture in any stretch of the imagination a serious traffic stop will mike as the responding officer. Now I'm sure he is an amazing officer and takes his job very serious I just can't picture it he's just to goofy and hilarious.

  35. Mike, in a future video I think it would be interesting to hear you explain the difference between a Gunfight and a Firefight. And why one is definitely more advantageous to be in over the other but one could possibly be better legally to be involved in?
