1. When reading the comments I realized that even on this channel many folks do not understand basic US big brother psychology. You hire police because they are a SIGNAL of authority. The producer knows she cannot forbid folks coming around snooping so she hires OD local police (instead of security firm) to be the perceived AUTHORITY. People unaware of their rights, when asked by police to move along – WILL MOVE ALONG for the most part because they think they HAVE to. Because the people think police have the authority to tell them they have to leave, most will believe them and go away. Do you remember when the McDonalds manager stripped searched a teenage employee because the "police" on the phone told her to? She would NEVER had done anything like that on her own but because a person of AUTHORITY told her to , she did.
   The entire point of this guy videoing for us was missed by folks worrying about if the production crew had a permit or not. The point is WE have rights and THEY have those same exact rights. Our rights can't be revoked because we look like a high rich lady, a poor white homeless guy or a black guy in a suit. We the people means all of us. Please always remember that the police department serves YOU. They do not have the authority to do many things they ask you to do that sounds like an order, but is actually a request. You can tell them NO. No you may not enter my home. No you may not search my car. No you may not see my ID.Most people do not question authority and because of this they get so used to peple waiving their rights that they get to thinking we dont have any. It has to stop

33. I know your style is to communicate with the Cops, but that just gives them info to build a case against you when you make a mistake. You don't have to tell them anything except that you are not up to no good, and away you go, but again, I understand that this is how you like to do it, just not my cup of tea. I have seen too many videos where they just kept talking until the guy said " Yeah, that's the only reason I carry this little knife in my pocket, in case a dog attacks me" … he was instantly arrested because in Canada, it's not WHAT you have in your pocket, but it's the INTENT of why you have it in your pocket … but this is Canada where I'm at, this is where they fire THREE warning shots into your back as your running away from them.

39. We all know who the idiots are. These cops have no clue. None. The cops are being paid extra by the production company so they have to pretend to be useful. And the private "security" isn't worth their weight in dog doo. Unless it's to clean up the leftover free food. Just another example of a cuff and stuff blocked by a camera.

40. Wow….I would've been shaking within. Hate to admit it….but I would've been expecting some type of physical contact by one or all of those officers had I been in your shoes instead. Honestly, from my perspective…..what you're doing would be like "playing with fire". Challenging "authority" is a "no-no" regardless of your rights. If you're savvy with what your rights are…..to find them being trampled on or stripped from you, better have the monetary means to lawyer-up along with being knowledgeable of your rights and the laws…just incase. Freedom isn't free. And to have your rights honored, especially by law enforcement officers who have the ability to ignore them and disrupt your life at the same time…can be and is…a heavy price to pay. I salute you and the sacrifices you're making.
    Before you make a decision….don't base it off of your feelings. Base it off the consequences you're willing to accept. The way BAD law enforcement officers have wielded their "power", people like me have been conditioned to coward instead of STANDING for our rights.

41. Cops are on Salary. They are never really off duty legally. Hence why they have to always carry their gun etc… They just getting paid a lot more on Over Time. If that makes any sense on Salary. Cops make Great money, have Great Benfits. And have great protection against the Law.
